SSE Medway Power Station

The client chose Dublix to provide an operator support system to handle the start-up and shut-down procedures on its two natural gas fired boilers at the SSE Medway Power Station operating as a peak load supplier.

The main purpose of the FuzEvent project was to reduce the risk of plant trips and to release the stress on operators during the critical start-up and shut-down phases when the operators shall carry out many actions within a short time frame.

The FuzEvent system is configured to take the power plant from a cold or worm standby state to full operation in the shorted possible time as requested by the UK national power grid management.
