SulfGen project commissioned spring 2021 at the HVC Dordrecht plant in Netherlands'.
The key element in the SulfGen technology is the process of substituting the amount of chlorine rich salts in the fly ash with sulphate through a sulphation process.

The SulfGen process has been accepted by several plants in Europe, most recently on the Parma Iren WtE plant in Italy and at the Borregaard WtE plant in Sarpsborg Norway.
